I’ve spent my career at the intersection of telecommunications, cloud computing, and intelligent automation long before “AI” became a headline. My most recent SAS Venture "Dextr" an advanced agent dashboard for Amazon Connect (now rebranded as ConnectPath) was acquired by an AWS Global Partner. I’ve led teams that blend engineering precision with business strategy. I still actively design and deploy Amazon Connect contact centers, Bedrock/SageMaker AI chatbots, and CRM-integrated workflows for clients who want performance and innovation. Earlier in my career, I took one of my ventures public ringing the opening bell on the AMEX. I’ve built and led multiple startups, directed telecom product development for Exxon Enterprises (Intercom PBX) , Intervoice/Brite, and Datapoint Infoswitch, and authored an Amazon best-selling text book and guide for those preparing for the AWS Generative AI Development Pro Certification. The DrVoIP blog and youtube channel is still racking up new viewers after two decades of teaching online! As a former CISCO Brat, I still hold some 17 CCNP level certs in networking, collaboration and cybersecurity. In 2017 I moved to the cloud and hold a number of AWS certs including AI Practitioner, Machine Learning Engineer and the coveted Generative AI Development Pro certification.
